- Enrollment and Transitions: Each year and during classroom transitions, parents/guardians must indicate any medical conditions or food allergies on the Personal Care Plan.
- Updates: Parents/guardians are responsible for promptly notifying Center Management of any changes or new allergies throughout the year.
- Documentation: All medical conditions and allergies are discussed with parents/guardians and thoroughly documented.
Staff Awareness
- Awareness: Our staff is fully informed about children with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences in their respective classrooms.
Menu and Allergens
- Menu Planning: Menus are crafted to avoid foods associated with choking hazards, ensuring child safety.
- Alternatives: We provide alternatives for children with allergies or food restrictions if our center offers snacks and/or lunch.
- Label Checking: Food product labels are diligently checked to ensure they do not contain nuts.
Special Diets
